OUR MISSION

The mission of the Apple Valley Speech & Debate Alumni Foundation is to provide an organization to serve and to promote the mutual interests of the Apple Valley Speech and Debate Team and its alumni.

The Foundation seeks to accomplish its mission by working to:

• Raise funds to support the team and its students through the solicitation of outside donations, and the operation of fundraising events such as the Minneapple tournaments.

• Promote alumni pride and engagement with the Team through outreach and events.

• Build relationships with student members that foster lifetime engagement and commitment to the Team.

• Help create and maintain connections and networking opportunities between and amongst current and future alumni.

• Act as informed public advocates by promoting the mission and the interests of the Team when necessary, including encouraging financial support of the Team by Apple Valley High School and ISD 196.
